Hello. Ciao. Bonjour—I’m Lou!

My love of languages began at 11 with French lessons at school, and it’s shaped my life ever since. I earned an MA (Hons) in French and Italian from the University of Edinburgh, studied abroad in France and Italy, and later founded Learning Languages with Lou in 2020 to combine my passion with over 12 years of teaching and admin experience.

I now teach English, French, and Italian to learners of all ages—toddlers, GCSE and A-level students, and adults—both in London and online. Drawing on my background in acting, I make lessons engaging with games, music, and theatre, while also supporting learners who doubt their “natural talent” for languages. Alongside private lessons, I offer corporate training and bilingual EA/PA support.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me exploring London, catching theatre shows, or spending time with my young family.
