It has been proven that online sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions. There are pros and cons to both formats, but most clients favour flexibility and convenience when it comes to online lessons. What counts the most is the tutor’s ability to successfully engage their pupil, regardless of the format.

Firstly, it is essential to take a language assessment test to determine your current level of proficiency. Every learner will come with different needs and prior knowledge, which doesn’t always mean you have to start from scratch. As a rough guide, I would advise that you look at booking a minimum of three months of intensive lessons (my 12-week holiday course would be a good place to start!)

I provide recommendations for adult learner textbooks, audiobooks, podcasts and the like. For more formal learners following the school curriculum, I tailor challenging areas such as grammar and speaking around your learning style through providing visual prompts and e-books, for example.

No, but I do recommend you book a 15-minute consultation call with me prior to booking sessions to ensure I am the right tutor for your learning needs.

I am available via email and WhatsApp during core business hours, 9am - 5pm.

I am happy to provide verbal feedback at the end of each session for the last 5 minutes of wrap-up time. I can also write up a more formal written report halfway through and at the end of my 12-week course.

If you need to cancel your session, I require at least 48 hours' notice without charge. I'm happy to reschedule sessions wherever possible, in line with our mutual availability.

E-books for grammar, writing and speaking prompts for GCSE and A-Level learners. I also provide digital visual flashcards for young learners as my sessions are more focused on singing and play!
